On Monday night’s Street Outlaws season nine finale, JJ Da Boss came to town to put on an old-fashioned arm drop style race that brought out some of the biggest names in the no-prep and street racing game. While the racers came from all over the midwest to compete, it seemed like the OKC crew managed to draw each other almost exclusively, especially in the early rounds.

When the time came for Shawn and his legendary Murder Nova to line up with upstart – at least on the show – Ryan and the Fireball Camaro, the crowd knew they were in for a treat, and they certainly got one. Big Rob was on hand to capture the action from his trademark starting line position, brining us the action in a single cut to really show how quickly these races are over, unlike how they are portrayed on television. With a drop of JJ’s arms, they pair was away and in a matter of seconds, their taillights faded into the distance, the pair of twin turbo badasses laying down a stellar side-by-side race.

When the call came in from the top end, it was Shawn taking the win and moving on to the next round, but he certainly had a window full of red Camaro all the way down the street.
